The Commercial Data and Analytics (cDNA) Forecasting Senior Associate will support Global & US forecasting for key Oncology products, both in-line and pipeline. He or she must be a passionate champion of insights-driven strategy and objective evidence-based decision making.

This person will:

  • Independently design, prepare, and maintain patient- and demand-based forecasts and scenarios for US in-line products and global pipeline assets aligned to the needs of cross functional stakeholders
  • Contribute to forecast cycles including quarterly/annual inline and pipeline forecasts
  • Use forecasts to support product decision making and to respond to ad-hoc forecast requests
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to create robust assumptions and forecast inputs
  • Collaborate with internal cross functional partners, including finance, marketing, pricing, value & access, to obtain relevant data and analysis for forecast inputs
  • Leverage biopharma environment understanding to deliver brand and asset level insights
  • Confidently present and defend forecast methodology, assumptions, and output at the executive level
  • Contribute to the advancement and implementation of new forecast approaches and industry best practices

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree

OR

Bachelors degree and 2 years of forecasting and/or analytics experience

OR

Associates degree and 6 years of forecasting and/or analytics experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of forecasting and/or analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS/MBA) with consulting background
  • 3+ years of forecasting, market research and/or analytics experience in biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working in partnership with Finance, Supply Chain/Operations, Data Science business units
  • Experience with advanced spreadsheets/Tableau/SQL, patient based forecast modeling
  • Experience with common forecasting tools such as Forecast Pro; financial modeling experience
  • Experience with quantitative techniques including smoothing, regression, time series analysis, and simulation
  • Working knowledge of forecasting inputs and structure, global/US access and reimbursement, and competitive environment and potential impact on product development and commercialization strategy
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences including senior leadership teams
  • Project management skillsable to organize and timely complete multiple projects and manage stakeholders efficiently and independently
  • Analytical skills combined with a client service orientation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based and matrix environment
  • Experience in compiling research on market trends, business performance and key drivers of success for products and brands.
  • Basic understanding of the latest developments in the biopharmaceutical industry, and unmet medical needs and opportunities in the assigned therapeutic area
  • Basic knowledge of commonly used biopharmaceutical industry databases IQVIA, DRG etc.
  • Willingness to learn and think strategically to support key business decisions
  • Basic knowledge of oncology therapeutic area
