ROLE SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Rare Disease Client Partner Team within Pfizer Digital.

The candidate will be working as part of a team responsible for multiple simultaneous high-profile projects involving varied technologies with a focus on the Rare Disease organization

This role will work in partnership with other Digital disciplines and service providers including Creation Centers, Compliance, Architects, vendor partners, and shared services. Will have the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment while prioritizing deliverables appropriately. Will have strong business analysis skills and contribute to initiatives to develop business cases, project plans, document requirements and communications. Will be the lead point of contact and simultaneously manage multiple projects and BAU activities across varying business areas to support business strategy. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze and understand business needs while working within the budget and timeline limitation restrictions of projects. Responsible for working effectively with Creation Centers to ensure smooth transition of operations & support for assets/services. Identify opportunities through business analysis to apply technology and processes that will improve key business performance indicators, share these with business leaders and key stakeholders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Management

• Understand client operational needs and strategic direction;

• Manage and set stakeholder expectations;

• Ensure that customer expectations have been met through delivery of BAU services or projects;

• Work with Creation Centers to deliver solutions/projects effectively and efficiently;

• Gather and analyze business requests to determine how best to prioritize demand planning.

• Help clients understand service offerings available from internal service providers and secure appropriate resources for projects;

• Facilitates technology initiatives which directly impact client portfolio;

Relationship Management

• Create and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, management, and peers;

• Able to influence other groups within organizations without direct oversight responsibility;

• Comfortable presenting in front of small and large audiences

Project Management

• Experience with the System Development Life Cycle Process(SDLC)

• Will Lead and direct one or more teams (project or BAU)

• Create, review, and evaluate requirements and project plans / objectives;

• Track and report progress relative to time, budget, and demonstrated results;

• Communicate project status, milestones and issues to project sponsors;

• Works independently and with Project Team members to ensure task-level plans are completed and executed on time

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or an Engineering discipline is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as an Digital technology professional
  • 2 years working in the pharmaceutical industry with increasing responsibilities preferred
  • Strong business analysis and Digital systems background.
  • The ability to facilitate engagement, trust, understanding, and continuous improvement is a core aspect of this position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated capabilities and experience collaborating and working effectively in team settings, frequently in virtual teams.
  • System Development Life Cycle experience
  • Basic knowledge of collaboration tools.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule. Role may demand management of night and weekend work when projects are going live or issues are encountered in production.
